TOYO Cut Film Holders (4x5)

Good afternoon all,

I have a few Fidelity Elite and TOYO film holders, but just fancied a couple more so made a recent purchase from good old eBay.. Whilst these Film Holders look in near perfect condition, I've noticed the Dark Slides are plastic, whilst all my other TOYO holders are metal.

The paranoid in me wants to rule out they are "fake" (if such a thing exists in the large format world!), is anyone able to confirm TOYO made 4x5 cut film holders with plastic dark slides?

I'm specifically talking about the ones with Blue writing and say made in Japan as shown below

All my Toyo holders have plastic sark slides. It's likely they switched from metal to plastic.

I have the exact same holders and these dark slides are 100% authentic and original.

I bought 6 brand new ones this year and they all have metal slides.

Thanks everyone, so it's probably safe to say, at some point in time, they have produced Film Holders with both Metal and Plastic dark slides.

I'll test them out before heading into the field proper.
