Is there a Copal 0 lens that will cover 8x10?

Hey

I generally use these tables when lens shopping: https://graflex.org/lenses/lens-spec.html

But there's no info there about the copal size. I know that is bound by the shutter, but presumably lenses will only fit one of the three copal sizes? Unless I have that incorrect.

I have a Copal 3 for my 8x10, and my assumption is that for the image circle they would generally need to be at the larger copal sizes, but please tell me if I am wrong, and/or where to find this information?

The Nikkor 300mm f9 is in a copal 2. That one just covers 8x10 but not sure of any copal 0

The old Zeiss f18 EWA Protar lenses are tiny, a 6" would fit a #0 shutter. I have a Ross f16 EWA Air Ministry lens, it's an unmarked Zeiss Protar made under licence.

The Nikkor 120mm f8 SW is in a #0 shutter. Just covers 10x8., some use the 120mm f8 Super Angulon which barely covers 10x8 again in a #0 shutter.

It's in a #1 shutter, the #2 is rare, and used for very few lenses and quickly dropped.

The 450mm M lens also covers 10x8.

The reason that most 10x8 lenses use a large shutter is that there is a lot of glass in them to reach f5.6. You will notice that all the Copal 1 lenses have smaller apertures. “Ye canna break the laws o’ physics.”
The 150mm SW f8 is in a Copal 1, but it’s becoming very expensive.

A wrong digit I hit there... must check what I write before hitting send.

The Fuji 240mm f/9 A covers 10x8" and is in a Copal #0. There's quite a few very practical lenses that cover and are in #1 shutters; for example the G Clarons 210 / 240 / 270 / 305s, the Fuji 300mm f/8.5 C, the Nikon 300mm f/9, the Fuji 450mm f/12.5, and even the 110mm f/5.6 SSXL is reckoned to just cover. There's also a Fuji A 360mm f/10 and a Fuji A 300mm f/9 but they are like rocking horse s***.
