Ive just seen that Intrepid sell a 0.5mm pinhole for their Intrepid camera.
Does anyone have one and if so what are your thoughts on it

Intrepid 5x4 Pinhole

Yes, I've had one for some time. I used it to take this image:

Intrepid say that the pinhole size is optimised for a 140mm bellows extension. Most of my use has been at around 90mm, and I've been happy with the resulting images.
Of course the f number varies according to the bellows extension you choose, but it's easy to calculate as its 2* the bellows extension, eg. 90mm of bellows makes the aperture f/180.
Some things to be aware of:
a) the design does not allow for the use of a cable release or filters.
b) Most commercial 4x5 pinholes seem to have very wide angles of view - for example the Zero Image model has three options, the longest of which is 75mm. With the Intrepid, 75mm is about the widest you can go. This isn't a problem for me but might be for other users.
c) I had thought I would be able to use the pinhole board on other cameras which take Linhof/Technika boards but it doesn't actually quite fit in the one I tried.
