Looks like a typical L shaped studio room set, then what apperas yo be window with closed blinds is hangig :D

Ian
I noticed the window after looking at the pictures more closely. I hadn’t zoomed in on my phone

Rover. Circa early 1990s. 10x8 transparency. All lit with reflected tungsten light in a cove. The heat inside the studio during hot summer days was brutal. I remember we hired an air conditioning unit to make it bearable.
The colours in the original film are absolutely stunning. My phone can’t capture the colour saturation but you get the idea. All in one shot in camera. Those were the days.

Studio shenanigans. Circa 1990. 5x4 Polaroid.
We worked on a brochure for Hoover products and built a small kitchen set in the studio. The washing machines had removable drums, presumably to cut down on weight.

10x8 Polaroid, 1989. I believe this was for a portfolio shot. I will share more details but for now, I’ll let you have a think about what’s going on here.

At the studio we used Tungsten lights in the cove and bounced the light for cars or anything highly reflective. Exposure times were long, the tungsten film was slow. For a lot of other shots we'd use strobes. There was an ancient looking flash power pack on wheels which I think was 5000 watts of power. For a shot like this I think it would have been strobes for the short flash duration.
I just took a chance on 3 x of the wheeled Strobe units, flash "heads", stands, barb doors and the whole works - ex pro studio in the East End...

Either a brilliant buy or a lot of messing about for no reward.... Didn't pay much...

Congratulations. Make sure you get a hold of a copy of the instructions because there’s a sequence to follow before you switch them on. At the link I shared to the Facebook group you’ll find instructions and also a video explaining. I’m nothing to do with the group, I was browsing out of curiosity.
