My Rodenstock Sironar N 150mm is suffering from spluttering shutter speeds in the low end, 1 second been the worse.

Any reccommendations for UK replair please

I thought he had retired and closed shop about 5 years ago ?
Nope. Semi retired. Mon-Weds. email him first. I emailed him earlier. He’s busy so you might need to book yourself in.

I just forgot that the repairer who works at Apeture lives near me. I bumped into him on Saturday and he gave me his card. I’ve just messaged him and waiting for a response

I have used a guy via Linhoff studio who serviced my Super Angulon 165 a year and half ago. I just shipped it out to Linhoff studio, the lady who runs Linhoff Studio is really good, the turnaround was quite quick (about two or three weeks I recall) , I don't think it was too expensive around £150 I think but don't hold me to it!

This should be a very easy fix for any repairer accustomed to working with mechanical cameras and shutters. I have used Cameratik in Edinburgh for a couple of repairs recently with success, prices are fair and I dare say a bit lower than London prices. But basically anywhere should be fine for this sort of thing.

Quoted £100 + £12 postage suppose this isnt to bad in this day an age
