On the Pyrocat hd 5x4 site pyrocat hd has pot.bromide 2g to make 1ltr stock mixed in waterHello Keith,

I still use HDC.

It probably is a typing error.Pot. Bromide 1g in 1 ltr glycol stock
Why the difference, is the 2g in water a typo?
I have only used HD and HDC using semi-stand, but I could not see any difference in negative density. I have not tested exhaustively but it suits me.Are the film developing times exactly the same for Pyrocat HD and Pyrocat HDC ?

I use Benzo sometimes when developing very expired films and it helps reduce base fog. At least that's what I've found.Adding Bromide is not necessary, and you never need to add Benzotriazole to film developers. They are only used in PQ paper developers to prevent warmth.
