Pentax ME Super bought in St Maarten in 1981 if you discount the family Agfa 110 camera I played with.

This needs no introduction I'm sure.
Sorry Ken, borrowed your picture.

I have a very nice early Exa, the Domiplan lens looks mint, except it won't focus, the front element looks fine until you look closely it's been very finely etched by atmospheric pollution. An optical designer on Photrio identified the soft optical glass uses, it was also used for a few LF Tessar lenses, the Leitz Summar, and pre-WWII Novar lenses.

Kodak_Retinette.png First camera I ever used independently was almost certainly this. 1950s Kodak Retinette. Still a really nice camera to handle and use.
This image was taken during a recent test run. Now find I have messed up the focussing alignment while trying to remove a stuck UV filter so it needs some complex attention. :(

The first I had use of was a 6x6 box camera - no idea of the model or make - that my Dad loaded film in (this would have been before I was 10). This was followed by some kodak instamatics where I could load them myself.
My first real camera was a Pentax ME, which I still have, and is almost visible in the background here

I've not used it for quite some time, using my a MX instead (inherited from my Dad) last time I shot a roll of 35mm
