Salt Print

Recently had a weekend with some like minded folk doing wet and dry plate's. This is a Salt Print off a 7x5 Zebra Dry plate. Taken with a FKD 18x24cm and a reducing adapter in the plate holder. Not quite got the silver coating as even as it should, but improving.

Looks great. I’ve been trying salt prints over the past few months and find them the hardest alt process to get right. You look like you’ve nailed it there. Was it exposed under sunlight or UV lamps?

Thank you Tony. They can be a tad frustrating! The dry plate was a little over exposed and was printed using the Sun. Well as sunny as we get in Ireland It was a bright overcast day and took about 20mins. I prefer overcast days and not too bothered by the long exposure times.
