Here comes another 5x4 developing tank. Perhaps solving LF film problems is becoming more popular during lockdowns.

At the bottom of the linked page there's even more alternatives.

Yes, indeed. Remarkable.
If there's a growing market for such things, it must be driven by a growing enthusiasm for LF Photography. Is it part of an increasing interest in film? There doesn't seem to be any similar sprouting of new designs for 35mm and 120. I wonder where the major growth is taking place.

After trying the B's reel for 5x4 in a Paterson tank and not being particularly impressed with it, I wasn't looking for another similar solution. But, I saw mention, in a YouTube comment, of the 20th Century Camera 5x4 reel and thought I'd give one more a try; never cared for the design of the MOD54, but haven't personally tried it, either. The 20th Century reel is a keeper! Simple to load, clean development is easily obtained, and it holds 6 sheets.

That does look excellent. Hadn't heard of it before. I'd be worried about those long thin unsupported fingers, but you have the experience of using it. Thank you.

Here's a reference to the insert:
This may not be the video you saw but I've included it for the haircut:

Yeah, you have to be a bit careful when lowering the reel into the tank because those "fingers" will catch on the outside edge; can't just drop it in. I've only used it a couple of times but, so far, I like it for small runs or for those times when I don't feel like setting up the Jobo.
