At the last Camera Fair I bought a job lot box of LF cameras, the box was too full to look at all there was at the time.

There was a Half Plate camera with an odd back, a large ICA Reflex camera, a Lancaster Instagraph, and another camera, I didn't want to unpack everything there. There were many metal and wooden plate holders and more. There were also 2 TP roller blind shutters, and 2 TP Focal Plane shutters

At the time I'd assumed the half plate camera needed a back, it looked liker this:

A back holding a 35mm slide:

However, the correct back was deep in the box.

But no lens board.

So today I made two new ones.

It is not finished, but will match well. The only issue with the camera itself is the carry strap needs restitching, an easy fix.

This camera alone will sell for more than twice the whole job lot.

But then the Jewel, the camera I could not be bothered looking at the Camera Fair.

A Thornton Pickard All Weather Press Camera, the Focal Plane shutter works like new. It's Half plate but takes modern plate/film holders, so I can use my 7x5 film holders.

Now with a new lens board, it is currently primed before being sprayed Satin Black.

Another camera wort at least twice the job lot, and the there's 2 more and the rest, the plate holders etc.
