Before and after pictures (insertion of film holder) of the Black Intrepid 8x10 mark 3 bail back screen showing negligible shift using the bail back upgrade.
I know what it is that you're trying to show, but I'm not too sure how to interpret it.
The target never looked square (parallel) to the camera from the outset?
Perhaps if the target was square to the camera and a before and after shot of both without and with the bail back and then also in portrait and landscape positions?
So 8 images in total testing any difference in alignment for both rear tilt and rear swing. But admittedly,I'm not familiar with the movements on an Intrepid.
The target was in the garden therefore the side view not quite square on but close enough to spot anything the two images were synched in LR so the crops matched. I was just trying figure if the camera moved after putting in and removing a dark slide, the old problem was that it used to be a bit difficult even if exaggerated a bit for theatrical effect by some youtubers. Not really concerned by how parallel it was though that is important just wanted to see how effective the bail back mech was.
