Ffordes ebay Aero Ektar on Jolo lensboard

Thought I'd post this in just incase someone might be interested.
From Ffordes on ebay uk.
A Kodak 7" (178mm) f/2.5 Aero Ektar lens which appears attached to a JoLo (Jo Lommen) lensboard, a specialized, precision-machined aluminum mount designed for a Graflex Speed Graphic camera.
I'm not an expert, but it might be useful to someone.

That seems odd , generally they would offer 50% of their retail price which makes sense when considering the overheads and responsibilities, different if you px or commission sale pretty normal

I think Ffordes try and stick to more mainstream pro-type large format stuff on their own website (i.e relatively modern shuttered lenses) hence don't and have never really sold stuff like barrel lenses, oddball brass lenses, or stuff like aero Ektars - I assume in the case of AEs because they are all radioactive, prone to yellowing, and aren't that sharp wide open there's more of a risk that someone will buy something like that not knowing what they are letting themselves in for, then want to send it straight back. Hence they parted company with this via their ebay site. Generally the stuff they ebay seems to be stuff which is more of a risk or has some issues (but not always).

for the adventurer there is one on eBay for £89 BIN right now - needs work , aperture scale missing is not a problem as
could be DIY

After much cursing and swearing I finally managed to expand the front standard so it now fits.

Looks fabulous!

How's the image looking on the ground glass, nice and bright and does it bring back fond memories?
