I enjoyed the stories in Edge of Darkness and the quest for incremental gains in every aspect of his work.
I found the negative a bit clinical. But I'm an architect not an engineer.
I've also been using BTTB for years and enjoyed it, although I've just received all the ingredients to give Pyrocat HD a try, having tried Barry Thorntons Pyrocatechin based 2-bath and had terrible streaks of stain with 10x8 FP4 in a Zebra tank.
