Years ago I saw an amazing retrospective of the work of Thomas Ruff at Tate Liverpool. There was a big overview of his work.
Many of his portraits were there, generally they are known and shown at huge, blown-up, larger than life sizes. However he also made colour contact prints. They were incredible.
This one particularly stuck in my mind. It was really something in the flesh.

I am wondering if anyone else knows of other photographers who've made 8x10" colour contact prints?
