Great look overall - sorry if you've answered in a different thread, but how much of the image was shaped by the ambrotype process and how much by the lens?

I reckon that most of the look is the actual process as it is mainly sensitive to blue light. The limited depth of field and central curved focus area is very much the big old Marion &Co petzval lens. It is a good question so probably 25% lens and the rest is the process.
