Help

There's a current eBay listing for a used Fuji dark box at £250, but the seller apparently also has an unused one at £400 as well.

UK south coast.
I don't like the way the changing bags collapse and restrict the working space.
I'm also planning on going 10 x 8 soon so need a solution to film handling.
10x8 Hmm.
Not sure even my 70x70 dark bags with a frame inside will be big enough. I’ll have a try with whole-plate this week and let you know.

If 10x8" is on the horizon then forget about the Calumet ones or similar, because these are two small. The kangrinpoche is also too small really - the specs look generous for those tents because they measure the floorplan size, but in reality a good amount of that space is unusable cos of the slant of the tent roof and low height - same goes for the Harrison of similar size. You would want the Harrison Jumbo (£££££ and they reek) or the large Fuji Frontier one.

I paid just north of 100 sheets for one off ebay within the last year, and for a while West Yorks Cameras had one in for similar coin, so I wouldn’t pay those inflated prices unless really desperate. They do come up regularly for reasonable sums with a bit of patience.

I seem to remember toy construction kits with rods and nodes that might work without the perils that Wendy mentions.
Or a little bit of DIY. Blackout fabric for curtains is readily available.
I find that everything is more expensive than I had expected. Doesn’t everyone?

I've seen YouTuber Ben Horne using a Harrison tent for 10" x 8" sheets in the back of his pick-up when on location in Death Valley and Zion National Park.
I can't find a uk supplier for Harrison tents.
That said, I'm rubbish at Google.

P.S. Bear in mind those prices are excluding VAT....

That is the coolest thing I've seen in many a year.
