Nikon digital camera and micro Nikkor 55mm

Is there a Nikon digital slr that I could use Nikon ai or ais lenses on? 12mp would be adequate.

Maybe the Nikon D700? You could also try a D90. The D700 seems to be the one everyone raves about. Even my old D70 works with this glass as does my D810. I would think any DLSR would work, the limitation is if you're trying to use G glass because of the aperture control.

I use a D750 with these all the time. The cameras are superb 24Mpix machines (as such things go, anyway). You can even enter the information about the lens so that the metadata is correct.

I use a Nikon D810 with a micro Nikkor 55mm, seems to work very good
