Of course issues have been and are, part of photography. This cannot be disputed. They are certainly not taboo. I'm only suggesting that a photographic forum might not be the best place to debate the issues themselves in any depth.
I also suggest that, however strongly beliefs may be held, the cause is better served by using moderate and considered language, especially when addressing strangers.
Having said that, I find it difficult to believe that we would differ greatly on the climate.
