evening light in the woods

Getting photographs is not the most important thing. For me it’s the act of photographing. It’s enlightening, therapeutic and satisfying, because the very process forces me to connect with the world…
(Michael Kenna)

For me this is one part of, but having had a night in the darkroom, working with the old De Vere on fabulous paper, and then the day after, holding it in your hand feeling the strength of it, men, what else do I need?

And yes Hahnemühle baryta or bamboo is absoltely great, it's also a way to get happy after a catastrophic session with a negative which won't come on paper in the darkroom (which happens so often..)
