Reminds me of these cameras, in which a paper negative is made and then contact printed inside the camera, commonly used for passport photos in south Asia I believe.
I can remember seeing something like the Bangladeshi camera on the way up to the Parthenon, but sadly we were unable to stop. A missed opportunity.
