W. Eugene Smith

Some years ago I had the pleasure of seeing a few Eugene Smith prints at the Weston Gallery in Carmel, CA - including "Tomoko Uemura in Her Bath, 1971," and "The Walk To Paradise Garden, 1946." These were big prints. It was astounding to me that he could pull such magnificent results from 35mm negatives.
