Hello everyone,does anyone know how the rear standard of an MPP is kept together[?]
It is the back part of the camera where the ground glass holder latches on
It is in two parts,a part with a retaining ring and the other part where it mates together

I cannot fathom how these two parts interlock,mine has a rotating function where it's possible to change from portrait to landscape
I can see there is some lubricating substance that may or may not have adhesive properties

I should be able to help, I've stripped a few down and rebuilt 7 replaced the covering, I need to know the model etc. Will PM my contact no.
