I am hoping you "Urupeans" closer to the point of manufacture can help with a question which does not have an obvious answer here in the US:

Is Arista.edu just rebranded Fomapan or are they different products? That is, for a given ASA, are they the same film. e.g. Fomapan 100 v. Arista.edu 100.

If the are the same, is this the case for all formats and sizes?

As far as I'm aware it's just a rebadging exercise. This appears to be a fairly common thing across several industries for what are seen as 'budget' product lines. I think it is mostly that retailers like to pretend they have a more exclusive, and even possibly 'homegrown' product range than they actually have.
