A couple of shots from a visit to the Yorkshire dales and Eden valley last September. First one is Appleby bridge and the second is an old building of some description that caught my eye just off the road north of Ribblehead viaduct.

Martin, thank you for the additional info, very interesting indeed. I couldn’t quite figure the building out as it didn’t seem to conform to livestock use and the chimney threw me as well because the building looked so small. Now I can see what it was like in it’s better days. A great shame it has been so badly neglected.
