It was while searching for help on this that I found this forum.

The lens that came with my Graflex, a Graflex optar 135mm in a Grafex shutter has a problem in that the "T" & "B" settings don't work (or at least do so only intermittently) instead it seems to fire at 1/25 (the slowest speed before the clockwork starts).

Has anybody seen this problem before, and is it repairable -- and if so do you have any suggestions for where I could get it done?

As it's a Wollensak shutter it less likely a UK repairer will be familiar with it. I'd call Black on White in Bristol (I've used quite a few times) or Newton Ellis in Liverpool.

I will second Newton Ellis in Liverpool. Used them quite a few times and been very happy with the service.
    Cheers

I've found if I press the shutter release before letting go of the cocking lever, then when I press the release for real it works OK (bizzarre!)
