I like the lines and textures in this photograph. Is that a graduated filer on the front of the Chamonix Dave
 
It is a grad, a warmup filter hard grad (probably 81B) and I was just using the "thick" end of it just to act as a straightforward warmup, as there is enough of that end to cover the whole lens.

Basically I didn't want the light from the blue/grey dusk sky overhead to totally overpower the warmth of the sandstone.
