Picking the right day and time is the essence of photography. I've found that no matter how still the air seems to be, getting out a large format camera is the cue for the weather gods to send a gentle breeze. If only the Ancient Mariner had had one...
Well done for taking advantage of the conditions. It's much more than a simple record.

It was a golfer who said the line, but I know little of golf. If I feel the urge to carry a great clumsy bag around, I already have one. And in LF, we don't have to buy everybody in the clubhouse a drink if we're successful. If we did, Martin would be bankrupt.
