Members might like to know that yesterday, a Carbon Infinity camera was sold on eBay UK for £1020. It was a landmark of perfection and workmanship but so expensive that only (perhaps) sixty were made. This must have been one of the last few remaining in the wild. If you're interested in camera design, it's worth finding out more.

What kind of camera is it? When was it made? What film does it use? I'm interested in cameras, but a Lomo, for example would be of no interest to me. The same would apply to many other models. Perhaps a picture would explain the value/attraction?

They are superb but very difficult to get bits for them.

Although I'm not a camera collector, I discovered that what is claimed to be "the last Gandolfi Precision ever produced" is on eBay. This one has the larger lensboard that will take lenses in modern shutters.
The Gandolfi Precision is a lovely camera to use but has fewer movements than most modern field cameras. I shan't be bidding. I'm sure there are richer members out there.
