Nothing fancy Mathieu, I am not really a still life person although I am starting to like it more as it gives me something to photograph on these long winter nights.

The main light (its behind the camera) is a daylight balanced Grafilite, I placed a diffuser in front of it, a piece of white card at the opposite side, positioned the camera to catch some light on the darker areas, more of a catch light as I wanted the lower key look, took 4 meter readings, one from the main light, one front on, the shadow side and the background, decided on the exposure, the same set up was used for the Voigtlander and the Rolleiflex 3.5f image.

    Setup Rolleiflex 3.5f

    Thanks for looking

That's very helpful, thanks Martin, I have an Interfit 5 cool lamp which is a daylight lamp but have not been that successful with my set up, I will give your set up a go and hopefully be more successful this time.
