Just won a mint Half Plate Kodak Specialist II on ebay, well my £100 offer was accepted. Comes in it's original case with two lenses a 203mm f7.7 Ektar and a Dallmer wide angle, extension rail, sliding tripod block (these are often missing), 6 film holders and I think a box of FP4+.

These are under-rated cameras and while Half plate film is only available through the Ilford annual ULF order and expensive I can use it with my 7x5 film holders and have plenty of film and also Harman Direct Positive paper.

Unfortunately I won't collect it until the 27th :D Now I have 3 203mm f7.7 Ektars :)

Just checked why the Dallmeyer 4¼" (110mm) is listed as f7-11, a Dallmeyer catalogue states the f7 is for focussing and the maximum aperture for use is f11, coverage is 100° the same as a Super Angulon.

edit : The listing was incorrect the Dallmeyer lens is 4¼" f6.5-11'

I get my Foma roll & sheet film from Fomafoto in Norway, it's currently 50.52 euro/£44.76 a 50 sheet box of 7x5 which is very significantly less, or better still Freestyle in the US (if someone's travelling). I have nearly 200 sheets of 7x5 Fomapan and and plenty of 7x5 DDS so no need for fresh film at the moment..

Should add I have a Seneca City View 7x5 camera, plus a second City View and New Improved View which came as parts cameras, so it makes sense to stick to using 7x5. I would by Half Plate and Whole Plate film if I made film inserts (sheaths) for some of my vintage cameras.

Ian's house must be filled with shelves and cupboards.

Just this really, with a few others scattered around :D

Plus a few more in Turkey (the wife insists) and a back log of restorations in the garage, and the spare bedroom :)

I need to sell a few . . . . .

What kind of camera is the black and white one?

Wanna offload one?
Need something to replace a symmar 210 that has given up on me.....

We can sort out something when I get the camera, I have other spare lenses around that FL as well.
