A couple taken back in August whislt staying up at Ullswater. Got up early to catch the sunrise, mainly to try some 6x12 velvia shots, but also took these b&w's. Taken with the Shen Hao HZX45 11A, Ilford Delta 100, Developed in HC-110 (B), the first with a 150mm Sinar sinaron S and the second with 90mm Rodenstock, both will have used a filter or two.

The smooth tones of these images are really nice. I recently tried this film/developer combination in a different format with very pleasing results.
Alex.

Wow, I love them!
Especially the first one!!

Lovely soft tones in both images, I prefer the first only for its better composition, did you use any filtering ?

Thanks for the comments!

Thanks. Delta 100/HC-110 were the combination I started with (as 120 film), tried a few more since but keep going back.

Thanks. I don't recall exactly what filters were used, likely to have been a yellow and/or an ND grad.

Cheers,
David.

First one for me David but both are exquisite, lovely tones throughout.

Lovely images. I know this area well, and have taken lots of images in the area, but none show it quite as nicely as these do. Very nice,

Garry

Thanks Garry. Was my first time photographing around Ullswater... would have been rude not to get the boathouse :)

Cheers,
David
